• College match scores, rankings, and recommendations are algorithmic outputs based on publicly available federal data. They are not guarantees of admission, financial aid, academic fit, or outcomes.
• Net price estimates shown are federal averages. Your actual cost will differ based on your specific financial situation, and can only be determined by submitting a FAFSA and applying to the institution.
• Program rankings use a formula we have defined. They are not accreditation assessments and should not be used as a sole basis for enrollment decisions.
• Earnings data represents median outcomes for all enrolled students in federal records, not guaranteed salary upon graduation.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any college, university, or government agency.

We strongly recommend consulting with a licensed school counselor, your high school guidance office, and each college's official admissions and financial aid offices before making any enrollment decision.

We strive to keep all data on the Site accurate and up to date. College data is sourced from the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard and is updated when the federal dataset is refreshed (typically annually). However, tuition, net price, program offerings, admission requirements, and other details change frequently.

Always verify all information directly with the institution before making any decision. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on the Site and are not responsible for decisions made based on it.

You may use this Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Site
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the Site
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our recommendation algorithm or scoring system
• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
• Misrepresent the source of any data or rankings obtained from the Site
• Use the Site to spam, harass, or send unsolicited communications

The Site content, design, logos, text, and code are owned by DecideMyCampus and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

College data displayed on the Site originates from U.S. federal government sources (College Scorecard / IPEDS), which are in the public domain. Our selection, arrangement, scoring methodology, and presentation of that data are original works.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including college websites and government databases. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DecideMyCampus and its owners, operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or reliance on information provided by the Site
• Any college admission decisions, financial aid outcomes, or enrollment decisions
• Inaccuracies or delays in the federal data we rely on
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any interruption or cessation of the Site

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (which, for a free service, means $0). Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DecideMyCampus and its owners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
