Maryland Guaranteed Transfer Admission Programs
Maryland Transfer Advantage Program (MTAP) gives students at MD community colleges priority review and tuition benefits at UMD College Park. It's not as strict a "guarantee" as UC TAG — Limited Enrollment Programs (CS, engineering, business) still require competitive applications.

Course requirements
Apply to MTAP BEFORE completing 15 credits at your community college. Earn an AA/AS with the required gen-ed and major prerequisites per ARTSYS articulation.
Deadlines
UMD transfer priority: March 1 for fall.
Watch out: MTAP is priority review + tuition discounts for concurrent enrollment — not a strict admission guarantee for every major. LEPs still require competitive applications.
